Privacy policy

This policy describes Marvin — Private Booking Calendar Reader, a personal-use integration operated by Jan van Rensburg.

Calendar information accessed

With the Google account holder's authorization, the integration reads events from a designated booking calendar. Retrieved fields may include event titles, descriptions, dates, locations, event identifiers and links, and guest names and contact details recorded in event descriptions. This connection requests calendar-event read-only permission; it does not request Gmail access or calendar write permission.

Purpose and processing

Calendar information is used to help the owner review existing bookings and answer his booking-management questions. Relevant calendar information may be included in the owner's configured AI-assistant requests and private conversation records. Processing can therefore involve the providers used to operate that assistant. This connection does not by itself authorize contacting guests or changing bookings.

Calendar data is not sold or used for advertising. This application does not use Google calendar data to train generalized AI models. Its use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and security

OAuth credentials are stored separately in permission-restricted files on the operator's computer, outside the public website. Booking-management records and assistant conversation records may retain relevant event information. No calendar event data or OAuth credentials are published on this website. Access is limited to the operator's authorized assistant environment and necessary processing providers.

Revocation and deletion

The Google account holder can revoke access using Google Account connections. Revocation prevents subsequent authorized reads but does not automatically erase previously retained local or assistant records. To request deletion of retained integration records, contact the operator at janpublic@gmail.com. Deleting integration records does not delete events from Google Calendar.

This public website

These informational pages do not contain login forms, advertising, analytics scripts or application cookies. The hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process ordinary request metadata needed to deliver and secure the pages.
